The Gospel of Freedom

In 2019, I was introduced to the work of Undue Medical Debt, and it immediately resonated with something deep in my heart. While serving on staff at a local church, we stepped out in faith and partnered together to eliminate more than $3 million in medical debt across multiple counties. What began as a single act of generosity quickly became a powerful picture of hope for families who were carrying burdens they never asked for and could not repay.

Medical debt is unique—it’s not something anyone plans for or deserves. It often comes in moments of crisis, illness, and uncertainty. As a pastor, I couldn’t ignore the clear parallel between this kind of debt and the greater reality of our spiritual condition. Scripture teaches us that we all carry a debt of sin we could never repay on our own—yet through Jesus, that debt has been completely forgiven. What we witnessed through medical debt relief was a tangible expression of that same grace.

Through this experience, I began to sense that God was opening a much larger door—that this wasn’t meant to be a one-time effort, but the beginning of something bigger for the state of Arkansas.

In 2025, my wife Stacy and I made the decision to step out and pursue this vision more intentionally. Our heart is to partner with churches, businesses, and individuals across Arkansas to identify and eliminate qualifying medical debt statewide—bringing both practical relief and a powerful demonstration of radical generosity to communities everywhere.

We believe this is more than financial freedom. It’s an opportunity to reflect the heart of God—to lift burdens, restore hope, and point people to the ultimate freedom found in Christ.
